Pumpkin-Pecan Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce

I've been creating and testing some dessert recipes for my Thanksgiving series and I really wanted to post this recipe today, but I still need to tweak it a bit.  The pumpkin bread pudding with toasted pecans and raisins turned out really good, but it's not great.  I still need to figure out how to get more lift in the custard.  It's just a little too dense for my liking.  The bourbon caramel was really flavorful and added a nice balance to all the sweetness.  Oh well, back to the kitchen for rev 2.0!  Stay tuned...
